Summer!!

Hey bloggers!  I only have 1 day and 2 hours of school left!  I EXTREMELY excited to get out of school and start summer vacation.  After this year I only have 1 year left to go.  It's hard to believe.  This summer I will not be going on any big or long vacations, but I will be going to Hershey Park with my parents and I am going to bring my best friend along.  I will mostly be hanging out with my friends and having a good time!!  Also later in the summer I will be going to Knoebels with one of my other friends.  I have many things to look forward to this summer.  Have a good weekend everyone!  See Ya!

Senior Year

Hey bloggers, I am now a junior in high school and I can't believe how fast time goes because I can still remember my first day of high school.  I am super excited for my senior year because I will get to graduate.  Another thing I am excited about is getting my senior pictures taken.  It is just absolutely crazy how fast time goes.  It just seemed like my junior year went by extremely fast.  Once I got to middle school time started to by faster and faster.  Those who is young and in primary and elementary school, once you get to middle and high school your school years will go by very fast.  Enjoy life as much as you can!

Prom

Hey bloggers.  I know I have not blogged in a couple of months, but I am back now.  Last weekend was the prom at my school and went and had some fun.  It was the very first prom I've ever been to.  It was my junior prom.  I just went with my best friend.  We met at her house and took pictures and then we went to Cafe Del Sol to eat and then went to prom.  There was a little bit of drama though, which is never good.  My friend and I put that behind us and tried to have a good time.  We got up and danced to some of the songs, but not all.  By the end of the night my feet were killing me so I was glad to get my shoes off.  I had a very good time at the Prom and I know I will definitely go to my senior prom.  See Ya!!

Theme

The reason I chose this theme for my blog is because I like to write about anything, so on my blog I wanted be able to write about anything I wanted to.  Also I thought this theme I chose was very colorful and very me.  My favorite thing I like to write is about my family and friends.  The reason for that is because I do alot with my friends especially, so I like to write about we do.  I do many things with my family also that I like to write about.  As you can see on my blog I will write about almost anything.  I wanted to choose a name for my blog that would allow me to write about anything like I said before. 

Volunteering

For my community service project I volunteered at the Humane Society of Washington County with the cats and dogs.  I did my community service there because I love animals especially cats, they are super cute.  When I first started out I had to go through a class then I to be interviewed by someone who worked there.  I wanted to start out working with the cats because I am more comfortable with cats then I am with dogs.  My mom had to volunteer there too because I was under the age of 16.  Some of the things I got to do with the cats was I got to hold them, play with them, and clean out their cages.  I got to see a lot of very tiny kittens, they were really cute!  There were some kittens and cats that I got attached to and wanted to take home, but my mom would not let me, sadly.  I did that for most of the time, then after a while I decided to walk dogs, but before I did I had to take a dog walking class and practice by walking a dog.  I was able to walk some puppies.  My favorite dog that I walked was a golden retriever puppy named Abby, she was absolutley adorable.  Golden Retrievers are my favorite type of dog.  I feel bad for the dogs that are in there, but some of them do act really mean the way that they bark.  I feel bad for the cats to of course.  Now since I am not volunteering there I like to go there every couple weeks and visit to what kind of cats and dogs they have.  If you get the chance you should adopt a pet there at the humane society.

Football

I know there are many people out there that are not a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but I am an extremely big fan.  I was mostly born into it because my dad is a Steeler fan and he has been all his life.  I am really glad I am fan for such a great team.  I have never been to a game,  but I want to go to one.  I think it will be really cool to see the game in real life.  The thing that I have done that is really cool is I've been to the Steelers training camp and saw them up close and see them practice.  Whenever we went up there to do that we also took a tour of Hines Field which was really cool.  We got to go into the locker room and walked all around.  I have probably been to the training camp 3-4 times.  The one time we went there I was standing along the edge and Hines Ward came up and he signed my hat.  That was so cool because he is one of my favorite players.  My dad and I also got to stand next to Coach Bill Cowher.  I am all time Steeler fan as you can see.  The only thing that makes me sad is that the Steelers have decided to release Hines Ward, at least I go his autograph.  Also at training camp you get to see all the Steeler players up close.  It is an pretty awesome experience!

Florida

My favorite trip I went on when I was younger was when my parents and I went to Florida.  I was only 9 years old whenever we went there in 2003.  We were down there for about a week.  It was super fun because that was my first pretty big vacation I ever went on and that was the furthest I have ever been.  It took us two days to get down there because we drove until we got to Georgia then spent the night and then drove the rest of the way.  The hotel we stayed in was pretty cool because there was a little section that was closed in that had a bunk bed a twin bed that was just for me.  The full day we were there we went to Disney World and that was pretty awesome.  I got to get my picture taken with some characters and we got on some of the rides.  Later that day we stayed for the parade and then saw the fireworks above the castle.  The next day we went to Sea World and that was probably my favorite thing we did.  We went to the Shamu show and I got to feed and pet a dolphin.  We got on a water ride/roller coaster and we did some other activities too.  The following day we went to Daytona Beach and just spent the day there.  The final day we went to Universal Studios and got on some different rides and such.  The one that was my favorite was probably Jaws and Twister.  The next day we left and started home, which was very sad because I had tons of fun and I didn't want to leave.  That vacation was super awesome.  If you get the chance I would go to Florida.

Summer 2011

Last year during the summer my family and I took a vacation to Tennessee.  I absolutely love it down there, it is super relaxing.  We went there the summer before and stayed in a cabin and this year we stayed in the same cabin again.  The cabin we stayed in is more like a house, it had 2 bedrooms and a hot tub.  We went up into the Smoky Mountains and we saw some deer, but no bear.  The before whenever we went down there we saw four bear, it was crazy.  Just driving through the mountains and listening to the water is just so peaceful.  While we were down there we went the amusement park Dollywood, which was also fun.  There is a ride there called River Battle, that I absolutely love.  You go around on the water on this little boat thing and it guns that you shoot people with water.  The people on the outside can shoot you back too.  You can not get off this ride dry, you get soaked! Whe it was time to come home I was very sad because I love it down there and was going to miss it badly.  If you ever get the chance to go to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, I suggest you go down there, you will not regret it at all. 

Myrtle Beach

I am in the choir at school and last year which was my 10 th grade year we went on a trip to Myrtle Beach.  We left on a Wednesday night and drove all night and got there in the morning.  It was a long trip, especially since I did not sleep much.  The first day we got there we ate breakfast and got ready and went to the beach.  For April it was a really nice day at the beach.  Later that night we ate at a place called Crabby Mike's.  The food was super good!  The next day we had our competition and that went pretty well.  We got many awards and trophies.  That night I think it was we went to Broadway on the Beach and ate some dinner and went shopping until 9:00 pm.  The next night we traveled at night to go to Virginia and stayed in a hotel.  We didn't get to the hotel until midnight.  The next morning which was our last day we went to Kings Dominion for the day.  That was one of my favorite things we did on the trip.  After the day at Kings Dominion we headed home, which was sad.  That was one of my favorite trips I was ever on!

My cat

I absolutely love cats, so I am going to tell you about my cat.  She is a 10 year old cat and her name is Muffin.  I got her when I was 6 almost 7 years old and she was only 7 or 8 weeks old, she was really little.  We got her at Franklin Feed in Chambersburg.  I am an only child so when I am home by myself she keeps me company and she loves to lay on your lap or beside you.  No matter where you are she wants to lay next to you or lay next to something.  One thing is that she does not act like a 10 year old cat, she loves to play with her toys sometimes and she likes to run back and forth out the hallway.  I love her so much and she is super sweet!

I absolutely love cats and kittens, they are so cute!  I have cat named Muffin and she is 10 years old.  She is the sweetest thing ever!

This is one of my favortie vacations, Dollywood!  My parents and I went the past 2 years.  If you have never been to Dollywood or the Smoky Moutains, you should go!

I have one collection at my house that is teacups.  I probably have over 20 teacups because I think they are so pretty.

This is my dream vacation Hawaii!  I think it is absolutely beautiful.

My blog is all about family and friends.  I just went one of the hardest times of my life.  I had to experience watching my grandmother die right before my eyes.  She was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 and she had two surgeries and went through four rounds of treatments.  I thought i would have go through anything like that.  That was the hardest thing I ever went through.  This past Christmas she said that her back hurt and since then, it seemed like it was one thing after another.  The doctor only gave her two weeks and that was about how long it was when she died.  My dad was in the room that morning and my grandmother said to him that she was going to heaven today and she was right.  When she did pass away, it was really hard because my grandmother and I were really close.  If you have family that you love dearly, please cherish every moment with them because you never know when it will be there last.
